What is the Nobel Prize?
The Noble Prize is an award that has been given every year since 1901. This prize is awarded for amazing achievements in physics, chemistry, physiology, literature, and peace. This year, 2013, a Noble Prize will be given to a man or women in mathematics for their many contributions and achievements in math. This award is an international award meaning anyone from any country can receive it. Alfred Nobel is the founder of the Nobel Prize. Nobel, a wealthy man left, all of his money in his will to the foundation of the Noble prize. Thanks to Alfred Nobel we can honor the people who have made a difference in our society by awarding them with a medal, personal diploma, and a cash award. The Nobel Prize is one of the most honored awards ever and Blaise Pascal the brilliant Mathematician should win this award for many reasons.

Blaise Pascal should win the Noble Prize because of his intelligence, contributions to math, and his immense effect on our lives today. The Noble Prize in mathematics is given every year to a woman or man who has had a large positive impact on the society. Blaise Pascal is different from other mathematicians because of his variety. He contributed to a number of different branches of mathematics including technology, philosophy of math, perception, and probability. In all of these categories Blaise Pascal has achieved what one man would hope to in one category and more. There are not even words that can describe how important Blaise Pascal’s contributions are to math, today and forever. All we can do to begin to honor this great man is award him with the Noble Prize, which he rightfully deserves.
